preparation for filming

 On this day, we could not film. We discussed several ways to try to make it work. However it was quite rainy outside and my group could not make it work to get over to my group members house. So we decided that we would get the necessary props and equipment together so that we are ready. One of the first things that we needed to get together was fake blood. My group members were in charge of getting that prop. I needed to decide what I would be wearing as the killer in the film. I decided that a all black outfit with a black hoodie would make me appear thee most as the killer. This it he very stereotypical outfit for killers in music. The next thing that I had to make sure was ready for the film. Was prepare for the actual technology in order to film. I rounded u my camera and started charging it. I then had to figure out how the light would effect how the camera would look. I adjusted the light settings because we knew that we would be filming in the evening. Once I was done with that my group discussed other key details of the scenes over the phone. My two groupmates who played main characters in the films started preparing to film there scenes as well. They had to figure out how they were going to make the news caster scene appear behind them. They decided they would use the video stream in order to make it look like its a live new broadcast. We then finished getting all the props and discussed our filming date. We are very excited to fil and produce this movie, we think its a very interesting experience.

Film review

For my film review, I feel like I have made good progress on the film. My group members and I tried very hard to create something that met all the necessary requirements. Looking back at my film production we had several redo's in order to try to make the film very visually appealing. We tried to focus our attention on our storyline and planning for the film. That was one of the biggest parts of creating the film. The essential steps and props and planning were absurd. I could only begin to imagine what creating a 2 hour or so film. I feel as though we did not film up to the full expectation. when filming we decided not to film some of the scenes because we ran out of time and wanted to start editing. The time that it took to film the correct camera angles and set up the shots was grueling. This was especially because I had work that night and it was a weekend.                                     Editing 1  The first day of editing the commercial, I was at my house. I decided to edit the light and color features of the first clip of the North-face bag. In this clip I focused on keeping it concise and straight to the point of the bag, so you can see exactly what we are advertising. I had to leave some of the clip out due to this reason. When I was editing the light of this clip, I decided to keep the whites very bright and shadows dark and consistent. This gives the bag a glossier and fancier look. I then changed the Hue of the clip to be more of a dark blue color. To give the artic feel for what the bag was trying to achieve.
