Getting the flow correct

For the second day of editing. We focused on editing fine details and new clips to add a very unique affect around the video. The first thing we did was added some FX affects. This gives the video more pop and make the transitions more clean. We had some camera blur affects for some parts of scene to make each clip different from the last one. We did a full run through of the song making sure there were no inappropriate parts in the song. While doing that we though we play around with some sounds of the clips being implemented behind the song. To give the scenes that need more sound. Some of the clips look awkward without any sounds. If you watched the clips yo would be able to feel that they need some part of sound for the video. The first clip we edited background noise into was the clip of Jet skis. We tried several different compressors and clip editing software to make the sound very clean and like its supposed to sound in real life. We had to cut extra background noise from the clips. As you can hear people talking in the background. Once that was done we loaded it back in to the software an lined it so it matches with the timing of the clip. We then put some more FX light affects, we started with the brightness and contrast of clips. As some clips were directly in the sun. They would have momentary blinding's by the sun. I brought down the contrast and brightness of each clip so that are consistent but can tell the difference between well lit areas and in the sun. The last step was to make sure everything look nice, still more editing to do but only final touches.

Film review

For my film review, I feel like I have made good progress on the film. My group members and I tried very hard to create something that met all the necessary requirements. Looking back at my film production we had several redo's in order to try to make the film very visually appealing. We tried to focus our attention on our storyline and planning for the film. That was one of the biggest parts of creating the film. The essential steps and props and planning were absurd. I could only begin to imagine what creating a 2 hour or so film. I feel as though we did not film up to the full expectation. when filming we decided not to film some of the scenes because we ran out of time and wanted to start editing.                                     Editing 1  The first day of editing the commercial, I was at my house. I decided to edit the light and color features of the first clip of the North-face bag. In this clip I focused on keeping it concise and straight to the point of the bag, so you can see exactly what we are advertising. I had to leave some of the clip out due to this reason. When I was editing the light of this clip, I decided to keep the whites very bright and shadows dark and consistent. This gives the bag a glossier and fancier look. I then changed the Hue of the clip to be more of a dark blue color. To give the artic feel for what the bag was trying to achieve.
