The film is done!

 Me and my group are very excited about this project. We tried very hard to produce something that would be unique and up to qualifications for Aice standards. We hope you like our project ,and we are excited for media studies A level. Overall, I think this was a fun project. It took a lot of hard work in order to pull off this film. I appreciate that my groupmates are in the same direction I am. What I can say is I am glad to be finally done with the project. All the hard work payed off as I think me and my group mates have truly captured the horror theme. We are glad we chose this prompt and this theme because it was very easy for us to come up with things for the movie. I am excited for what's to come in the future of   As media studies.

 Music Video This is my Second media Studies project, I worked very hard to produce something that is unique. The video tries to follow the theme of rap culture. Even though I had many setbacks, I pulled through and made what I consider a quality piece of work. I look forward to making more projects like this down the road.   This is a major step in improving my production skills.

Title Research: Secret Obsession

   How many titles are displayed during the opening sequences to the film? Which ones?  There are three titles displayed during the opening sequences of the film. It shows the two companies working on the film. “Netflix Presents”, “A Hybrid Production”. Then it shows the title of the movie, “Secret Obsession”. What connotations do the images carry? (how do you they make you feel) The opening sequence of the film shows rain pouring down from the view of a car window. The font used is a fancy font that gives off a very eerie, creepy, uncomfortable feeling. At the end of the opening sequence the movie title “Secret Obsession” is shown first in white, then it fades to red.  How is genre reinforced through symbolic and technical codes from the outset? (Can you tell what genre the film is)  Genre reinforcement is very effective as you can definitely tell what genre it is.
