Introducing me


Hello, my name is Connor Murray. I am in the 10th grade, and I go to Fort Lauderdale high school. I was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and have lived here ever since. When I was a young kid, I loved and was obsessed with being a farmer. As my family, lived in the countryside, I grew up around Farms and Animals. I wanted to help the people in need and couldn’t stand people being hungry and not having anything to eat, inspired by family. Now that I have grown up a bit, I have done a full 360 still wanting to help people but in a different way. I now have interest in Computer science/cybersecurity. I have certifications in Cybersecurity and computer science and do freelance Pen testing for Private Firms and businesses. I have always been interested and curious about computers. I started by the casual tinkering and watched the occasional YouTube video. I got to a very advanced level but longed to become professional and profit of my skills. So, about 4 years ago, I started to get serious about my craft and begun to take classes and certifications to pursue Cybersecurity as a career path. I also enjoy music creation/Video editing. I create music, and album projects and post them to Streaming services. I am very excited to start my final task, and create the short film. Now that we have moved on into our final task, I've noticed that ideas for camera shots and neat filming locations instantly come to mind. I Think that I have learned many skills from the last project. I will do my best to apply the things I learned in the creation of the music video and commercial. The final task will be a true test of what I can create, and I hope to put the best foot forward.

Film review

For my film review, I feel like I have made good progress on the film. My group members and I tried very hard to create something that met all the necessary requirements. Looking back at my film production we had several redo's in order to try to make the film very visually appealing. We tried to focus our attention on our storyline and planning for the film. That was one of the biggest parts of creating the film. The essential steps and props and planning were absurd. I could only begin to imagine what creating a 2 hour or so film. I feel as though we did not film up to the full expectation. when filming we decided not to film some of the scenes because we ran out of time and wanted to start editing. The time that it took to film the correct camera angles and set up the shots was grueling. This was especially because I had work that night and it was a weekend.                                     Editing 1  The first day of editing the commercial, I was at my house. I decided to edit the light and color features of the first clip of the North-face bag. In this clip I focused on keeping it concise and straight to the point of the bag, so you can see exactly what we are advertising. I had to leave some of the clip out due to this reason. When I was editing the light of this clip, I decided to keep the whites very bright and shadows dark and consistent. This gives the bag a glossier and fancier look. I then changed the Hue of the clip to be more of a dark blue color. To give the artic feel for what the bag was trying to achieve.
