                     Story board



 
In scene one, a north face backpack will be hoisted up and rotated. With a clear white background to let the viewers get a good look at the product. The bag will be Hoisted up with very small strings to give the illusion that the backpack is floating. This should make the commercial clear and concise to the audience about what the product looks like and the style associated with that. With possibly a clean transition if the timing will allow. The second scene contains a person or (actor 1) will be walking with the back facing the camera showing how the bag looks on a person. we will then edit the clip to focus on the actor and the background be blurred. This puts the attention towards the actor. Scene 3 will consist of a pan back towards the scene where the bag appears to be floating however this time the back of the backpack will be showing. The next scene will most likely be someone putting things inside the backpack. This will likely appeal to people that enjoy organized big bags to hold there valuable items. Scene 5 will be the north face back pack changing colors to show the colorful line of north face backpack. The last and final scene will be the north face logo with a nice transition. This whole commercial will have a potential song or beat that plays in background, but this is undetermined thus far. The plan is to record the first scene with a green screen, and do some magic editing. The second scene-scene 4 can be filmed in school. This project should be very clean and professional. With the materials we have been provided and the nature of the commercial it is a good chance that this is something north face would use. The nect steps from here are to make sure all of actors have everything they need. if we maintain our original plans, and do not stray, this would be a steal of a commercial.

Film review

For my film review, I feel like I have made good progress on the film. My group members and I tried very hard to create something that met all the necessary requirements. Looking back at my film production we had several redo's in order to try to make the film very visually appealing. We tried to focus our attention on our storyline and planning for the film. That was one of the biggest parts of creating the film. The essential steps and props and planning were absurd. I could only begin to imagine what creating a 2 hour or so film. I feel as though we did not film up to the full expectation. when filming we decided not to film some of the scenes because we ran out of time and wanted to start editing. The time that it took to film the correct camera angles and set up the shots was grueling. This was especially because I had work that night and it was a weekend.                                     Editing 1  The first day of editing the commercial, I was at my house. I decided to edit the light and color features of the first clip of the North-face bag. In this clip I focused on keeping it concise and straight to the point of the bag, so you can see exactly what we are advertising. I had to leave some of the clip out due to this reason. When I was editing the light of this clip, I decided to keep the whites very bright and shadows dark and consistent. This gives the bag a glossier and fancier look. I then changed the Hue of the clip to be more of a dark blue color. To give the artic feel for what the bag was trying to achieve. I decided that this clip was first because I felt it was a good introduction to the product.
